According to an affidavit filed by a responding officer in Campbell County General Sessions Court, officers were dispatched to a disturbance near 400 Imperial Heights Drive in Lafollette, which is also listed as the Bartley's home address.

Officers said they found Bartley walking down the road from the residence and agreed to accompany officers back to the residence.

When they arrived, the victim told officers Bartley showed up with several other people who wanted money. The victim said she asked Bartley to leave several times before he told her "Get out of my face, you bastard, I'm going to kill you."

The victim said he feared for his life when Bartley grabbed a nearby rubber mallet, so he ran and grabbed a revolver. The affidavit says the victim did not point the gun at Bartley, saying he pointed it at the ground and told him to leave several times.

The victim then said he told Bartley to get down until the police arrived, and then Bartley left.

Bartley became famous in 2005 after he was convicted of shooting and killing an administrator at Campbell County High School.

His first degree murder conviction was later dismissed and his charges were reduced. He was released in February 2014.

He was put behind bars again earlier this year in February after pleading guilty to felony trespassing at the Knox County Salvation Army. Campbell County Schools Superintendent Shelli Wilson confirmed the district is investigating the "alleged incident," but the district declined to confirm the details provided by the parents.

Campbell County schools and police are investigating an incident involving football players on a bus ride to a recent fight.

According to parents familiar with the incident, one student was forced into the back of the bus and assaulted by another student. Campbell County parents familiar with the incident said the event was recorded by teammates.

In a statement from Campbell County Schools Superintendent Shelli Wilson, she confirmed that the district is investigating the "suspected incident," but the district declined to confirm the details provided by the parents.

"We are aware of a situation that may involve student discipline. The alleged incident occurred outside of school and involved district transportation," Wilson said. "We are continuing to investigate and are working closely with with state and local law enforcement agencies. We appreciate your understanding that we are unable to provide additional details due to the ongoing nature of the investigation and the required confidentiality regarding student disciplinary matters. The safety of all Campbell County students will continue to be our top priority."

Campbell County Police Chief Craig Sorrell also confirmed that there was an incident but did not provide further details.

"We are aware of an incident that occurred on a bus," Sorrell said. "Since this is about minors, we do not have any comment or police report to release. We are aware and working to better understand the circumstances."
